Program Your 808 by Rob Ricketts:

A series of informative posters detailing how some of the most notable drum sequences were programmed using the Roland TR-808 Drum Machine. Each sequence has been analyzed and represented as to allow users to re-programme each sequence, key for key.

There’s some SoundPrism in there…

Brilliant - really shows what’s possible with the iPad (or iPads!)

Cascadr controlling Animoog

Cascadr (by me!) meets Animoog (by Moog!)

I set Cascadr playing a sequence on the pentatonic scale and used MIDI over WIFI to control a couple of patches on the Animoog synth. This is the direction I see Cascadr going in - it’s going to be a kick-ass alternative MIDI sequencer as opposed to a sound generator…

Half a million!

Congratulations guys!! :D

To anyone reading that doesn’t have this app, you are doing yourself and your device a disservice.  This is how to leverage a touch device for music. Go get it now!

We’re happy to announce that SoundPrism has been downloaded more than 500.000 times.

Awesome post on Mobile Website Performance

Although I normally cringe at posts containing the word ‘manifesto’ as they come across as fanatical, and to be frank ‘mad’, this post has tons of useful information!

(the new BBC news homepage viewed in Chrome Canary - my browser of choice - ironically, it *does* display properly as soon as you open up the web inspector - that’ll make fixing it exciting :D )
…and this is why you should test your sites in the latest (beta) browsers.

Cascadr v2.02 submitted to Apple

Quick update on Cascadr, which is now at v2.02 and winging it’s way onto the app store.

Every time you change something on the app, everything is auto-saved so that when you quit and re-open the app, it returns to its current state.

I’m currently working on proper saving, which should follow this update rather quickly!
